Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Services Provided
The Founder's Sparring Partner provides strategic advisory and decision-support services to founders and business leaders. Specific engagement terms, scope, duration, and pricing are agreed upon individually with each client before services begin.
Engagement Process
- Initial Conversation: We begin with a confidential conversation to understand your needs
- Custom Agreement: Each engagement is tailored with specific terms documented separately
- Mutual Agreement: Services begin only after both parties agree to the engagement terms
Confidentiality
All information shared during our engagements—including business strategies, financials, decisions, and discussions—is kept strictly confidential. We do not disclose client information to third parties except as required by law.
We expect clients to treat our strategic insights and frameworks shared during sessions as confidential.
Nature of Service
Our services provide strategic guidance and advisory support. We:
- Offer perspective based on experience across 30+ companies
- Help you think through decisions and challenges
- Provide frameworks and recommendations
We do not:
- Make decisions on your behalf
- Guarantee specific business outcomes
- Provide legal, accounting, or financial advice (consult licensed professionals for these)
Intellectual Property
- You retain all rights to your business information and materials
- We retain rights to our frameworks, methodologies, and general strategic insights
- Case studies or examples may be used (anonymized) with your explicit permission only
Limitation of Liability
Our advisory services are provided based on the information you share and our professional judgment. We are not liable for business outcomes, decisions you make, or results achieved or not achieved following our guidance.
Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in individual engagement agreements. Generally:
- Payment is required as agreed in your specific engagement terms
- Refund policies are determined on a case-by-case basis
- Services may be paused or terminated if payment terms are not met
Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement with reasonable notice as specified in the individual agreement. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.
Modifications
We may update these Terms of Service. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation first.
Disclaimer
Strategic advisory services involve judgment and opinion. While we provide guidance based on substantial experience, business outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control. You are responsible for your own business decisions.
